Sri Lanka’s historical cities like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa offer incredible insights into the country’s past. If nature is more your thing, the national parks are famous for their Asian elephants, and some, like Yala, even house the opportunity to spot elusive leopards in their natural habitats.

The people are renowned for their warmth, hospitality, and deep respect for tradition. Respect for elders, family values, and a strong sense of community are deeply ingrained in the culture.

Kalpitiya, a peninsula in northwestern Sri Lanka, 130 kilometres from Colombo, is the setting of our Sri Lankan DNA extreme retreats. You’ll enjoy 10 days of kite-surfing, co-working, networking and so much more in this off-the-beaten-path coastal retreat.
An up-and-coming tourist destination, Kalpitiya retains its authenticity and charm. The area is a haven for water sports enthusiasts and it offers ideal conditions for activities like kitesurfing, snorkelling, and diving. You’ll be kitesurfing with fellow nomads in one of Asia’s best kitesurfing spots.
You can expect your retreat to be filled with adventure as we take you kiting at some of the best spots in the country, and provide coaching from kite-surfing legends. There will be daily briefings to get you pumped and give you the chance to bond with your fellow nomads.
